Firewatch

Firewatch is a single-player first-person video game in which you'll explore the Wyoming wilderness as a man named Henry, after taking a summer job as a fire watchman. What should be a peaceful break from your complicated life takes a turn when you start to question some of the things that happen to you. Your only human connection is through a handheld radio, which you use to talk to your supervisor, Delilah, about the things you're both experiencing.

Story

The year is 1989. You are a man named Henry who has retired from his chaotic life to work as a fire warden in the Wyoming wilderness. At the top of a mountain, your job is to find smoke and protect the wilderness. A particularly hot and dry summer has everyone on edge. Your supervisor, a woman named Delilah, is always available to you via a small handheld radio - and she's your only contact with the world you've left behind. But when something strange lures you out of your observation tower and into the world below, you explore a wild and unfamiliar environment, asking yourself questions and making interpersonal decisions that can make or break the only meaningful relationship you have.
