Fire Tonight
A narrative puzzle about two people trying to find each other again in a burning city. Maya makes her way through the city by car, train, on roller skates, and on the roof as she avoids police roadblocks, traffic jams, and the spreading fire. Devin is stuck in his small apartment, anxiously awaiting Maya's arrival. He reminisces about their time together while looking at all the memorabilia scattered around his apartment. Will Maya and Devin be able to find each other before the town goes up in flames?
Story
Maya and Devin are separated in a burning city. In 1990, before cell phones and the internet. They are on their own, wondering what choices brought them here, how they met, and what the future might hold. Inspired by Information Society's song of the same name, Fire Tonight is a lighthearted but thoughtful walk through the story of a relationship. A story about believing in each other when the whole world is trying to keep them apart.
