Final Fantasy X-2

Final Fantasy X-2 is the direct sequel to Final Fantasy X, developed and published by Square Enix. It was the first direct sequel to the Final Fantasy series and the first in which only women were playable. It also returned to the job system that hadn't existed in the main series since Final Fantasy V. The game uses a class system, in which the characters' equipment determines their abilities and stats. Party members can switch to any piece of clothing in their Garment Grid to learn new abilities and adapt to different enemies. It uses the Active Time Battle system, which was missing in Final Fantasy X. The party has access to all locations early on and can visit them via Celsius, completing several mini-games and sidequests in one chapter before moving on to the next in the story.

Story

The game is set in Spira during the Eternal Rest, two years after Final Fantasy X. It continues the story of Yuna, who has become a sphere hunter and belongs to the sphere hunting group, the Gullwings, together with Rikku and Paine. Yuna hunts for spheres to find clues about a mysterious man who looks like her lost love, Tidus. However, she becomes embroiled in political turmoil that the Gullwings must resolve to prevent war, and uncovers a plan to destroy Spira with a secret weapon from the past.
