Final Fantasy II

Final Fantasy II is the second installment of the Final Fantasy series, developed and published by Squaresoft. It was directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi, Yoshitaka Amano designed the characters and Nobuo Uematsu composed the music. It was one of the first story-intensive RPGs released for console systems, and introduced many basic elements of the series, including Chocobos and a character named Cid. The story has nothing to do with the original FINAL FANTASY, and the gameplay is very different from the previous title, since the traditional experience-based progression system has been abolished.
