FIFA: Road to World Cup 98

FIFA: Road to World Cup 98

Released at the end of 1997, FIFA was strongly linked to the qualification process for the 1998 World Cup. In the mode "The Road to the World Cup" you'll lead a team from the first qualification to the main tournament, using the different systems in the different parts of the world. The game has 16 different outdoor stadiums. In league play, there are 189 clubs and 11 leagues. Each team has special crowd chants that are integrated into the soundscape. The action is faster than in previous versions, and the AI has been enhanced. Players have different facial features and hairstyles. Each game is introduced by Des Lynam and commented by John Motson and former Scottish international Andy Gray.
