Story

Centuries ago, a brutal beast tore the world to pieces. In that time of need, the first immortals gained their uncanny powers, which were so great that they managed to destroy the beast that was ravaging the land where all else had failed. In order to prevent such destruction from ever happening again, the immortals joined together to form a council that would ensure order and stability on a global scale and intervene at any sign of war or chaos. The Immortals may be very powerful, but they are few in number. Even they cannot oversee all countries. Therefore, they rely on their mortal agents, the Arbiters, to protect the people of the land from everyday dangers. The Arbiters travel throughout the land to track down bandits, unruly monsters, and corrupt officials; their word is law. But one Arbiter uncovers the growing corruption in her own order, and it's up to her to stop the spread of a menace as bad as the brutal beast of old.
