Fantasy Grounds

Fantasy Grounds is a hybrid application that allows you to play and create your own role-playing games. It facilitates this game and offers some optional adventure add-on modules that can be loaded and played with very little preparation. Each game requires a GameMaster (GM) and one or more players. The games can be played in one session of just a few hours or continued in multiple sessions over several days, weeks, months or years. Typically, the GameMaster installs the application and selects the game system of their choice, which we refer to as the ruleset. Fantasy Grounds comes with rulesets for FATE Core, Numenera, Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, Dungeons & Dragons 4E, Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition and the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. Further rule sets are available free of charge and for purchase in our workshop. Dungeons & Dragons 3.5, D&D fifth edition and Pathfinder are good starting points for new gamemasters and anyone new to Fantasy Grounds. These rulebooks already contain some basic library modules with abilities, spells, monsters and items.
