Exile's End

Exile's End

"The Japanese version of the classic Commodore 64/Amiga action-adventure games. NOT a Metroidvania. Use your wits and weapons to discover an ancient mystery and gain your redemption. Art and music from Japanese legends of console gaming. Exile's End pays homage to early 90's action-adventure PC games like Flashback and Another World, but with a Japanese flair. The core of the game comes from Australian game developer Magnetic Realms, while the graphics, cutscenes, and music come from legends of the 8- and 16-bit era in Japan. Thematically, the game is influenced by the science fiction movies and anime of the 80s, and the gameplay by classic Amiga and Commodore 64 action adventures. - Music by Keiji Yamagishi (Ninja Gaiden NES, Tecmo Bowl, Captain Tsubasa) - Art by staff from Secret of Mana, First Kiss Story, Mother 3 and more! - NES-style cutscenes by OPUS (Half-Minute Hero)"

Just as the ship carrying Jameson and his team arrives, a catastrophic power failure occurs and it crashes on the planet's surface, with Jameson appearing to be the only survivor. In an attempt to re-establish communications with the Ravenwood Corporation, he comes across the remains of mining on this desolate planet and learns a truth far more sinister than he could have ever imagined..."
