Europa Universalis II invites you to a global battle for supremacy - from the dark times of Joan of Arc to the flaming wars of Napoleon. As the leader of a country, you'll have to direct domestic and foreign policy. Engage in religious battles, organize expeditions to conquer the New World, and lead your country to prosperity and victory. Send your privateers to sail the seven seas, gather mercenaries to strengthen your defenses, and send missionaries to convert unbelievers to your state religion. Interact with real historical events and people to determine which path your nation will take in the game. The new game includes a sophisticated and expanded system for diplomacy, trade, military power and development.
