El Shaddai was developed by a highly talented team in Tokyo, led by the legendary Sawaki Takeyasu (Devil May Cry) and Masato Kimura (Okami, Viewtiful Joe): Ascension of the Metatron draws players into a rich story inspired by the events in the apocryphal "Book of Enoch" of the Old Testament. In the game, players take on the role of Enoch and must use his natural fighting abilities to master a range of powerful and celestial weapons under the guidance of the watchful archangels. Only in this way can he free the souls of the fallen angels and save the world from a great flood ordered by heaven.
