E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial - Interplanetary Mission
E.T. may have left Earth safely aboard his spaceship, but shortly after landing, trouble awaits him in this 3D PlayStation adventure. The universe is in danger and only E.T. can help save it by finding exotic plants. In the role of the kind-hearted alien from the 1982 movie, which was remade in 2002 to celebrate its 20th anniversary, players must rescue rare plants from a total of five planets: Green Planet, Ice Planet, Desert Planet, Planet Metropolis and Earth. Each planet contains a certain number of plants that have to be found in three levels. The worlds are also home to hostile creatures or government agents, so E.T. must use his special powers to overcome all kinds of threats. As E.T. runs through the levels, he can use his telekinesis to bring objects closer, use his healing power to restore flowers and stun his heart to temporarily freeze enemies. There are also items in each level, such as keys or switches, which E.T. can use to reach blocked areas. Progress in the adventure can be saved on a memory card.
