Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers is set in the chaotic last days of the Han Dynasty, when ancient China was overrun by rebellions and internal strife in the imperial court. The story follows the famous warrior Zhao Yun and his close friend Lei Bin, who unwittingly rescue a young girl, Lixia, from a mystical prison. The two friends and the mysterious Lixia become embroiled in a crucial battle to save the world as they navigate the maelstrom of Three Kingdoms China, meeting countless great warriors and participating in historic battles. Story
"The last days of the late Han period in China.... Political strife has led to unrest and the rise of the rebellious peasants known as the "Yellow Turbans" has brought unceasing conflict to the country. In the midst of this chaos lives in the land of Changshan a young warrior named Zhao Yun who has a friend named Lei Bin, a master of lore. One day, Lei Bin hears a rumor about a "buried person" discovered by the remnants of the Yellow Turbans in a "mysterious shrine," and he persuades Zhao Yun to investigate. While Zhao Yun is more interested in the danger that might come from the rebels, Lei Bin can only think of the "great historical discovery" they might make. But what they discover in the cave is a young woman who seems to be frozen in a pillar of ice. When the young men are attacked by the Yellow Turbans, the girl awakens and they find out that her name is Lixia. Together, Lixia, Zhao Yun and Lei Bin embark on a great journey.
