Scrooge McDuck is on the trail of the richest adventure of all time. The pieces of Scrooge McDuck's lost treasure map are scattered all over the globe and Scrooge must find them before the greedy Flintheart Glomgold snatches them up. It will be a race to the finish as they both try to find the treasure and become the richest duck in the world! Join Scrooge and his nephews as they explore the ancient pyramids of Egypt and tangle with pirates in the Bermuda Triangle. Help them search the haunted halls of an ancient Scottish castle and climb Niagara Falls. Help Scrooge in his search for the secret of Mu Island and you'll get the final clue to unlock the hiding place of McDuck's lost treasure!
Story
At the beginning of the game, Huey runs to his uncle Scrooge McDuck with a torn piece of paper that is part of a treasure map drawn by Fergus Duck. Inspired by the desire to discover the treasure left by Fergus, Scrooge sets out to find the missing pieces, unaware that his archenemy Flintheart Glomgold is also after McDuck's lost treasure. Scrooge travels to Niagara Falls, a pirate ship in the Bermuda Triangle, Mu, Egypt and Scotland. Each area has its own unique treasure guarded by a boss. After mastering all five main sections, Webby is kidnapped by Glomgold and held for ransom on the pirate ship in the Bermuda Triangle. Scrooge arrives and hands Glomgold the treasures, only to discover that this "Glomgold" is actually a shape-shifting robot named D-1000, programmed to destroy him. After defeating the D-1000, Glomgold sinks the ship and tries to take Scrooge and the treasures with him.
