Dreaming Mary

Dreaming Mary

Dreaming Mary is an original sidescrolling adventure game created with the free RPG Maker VX Ace Lite. It is inspired by the Japanese horror game Ib and the abstract game Yume Nikki, and is influenced by the indie platformer Eversion and the TV series Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. Despite these influences, Dreaming Mary isn't really a horror game. It does contain horror elements, but a player who chooses to indulge in dreams instead of investigating them may never get to see them. The average game time is between fifteen and twenty-five minutes to reach an end, and there are four endings. In the game you'll be able to interact with objects and NPCs. It is important to pay attention to the dialogs and your environment to advance. Sounds are very important in this game and can help the player advance and give clues about the situation Mary is in.

Story

Mary is a girl who loves to dream. In fact, she loves to dream so much that she can spend an entire day dreaming. When she falls asleep one day, she finds herself in a nostalgic place that is very different from her other dreams. Everyone there knows her and treats her like an old friend. They invite her to play with them or help them. When she completes all the tasks, she is invited even deeper into the dream.
