Dragon Quest

The player takes on the role of a nameable hero. The hero's name affects his statistical development during the game. Battles are turn-based, and after each fight you get experience points and gold, which the hero uses to level up in abilities and buy better weapons, armor and items. To advance, you'll travel over a world map and through dungeons, fighting monsters that you'll encounter in random battles along the way.
