Dragon Ball

Dragon Ball

Dragon Ball (also known as Dragon Ball: Le Secrets du Dragon and Dragon Ball: Shenron no Nazo) is the second video game based on the Dragon Ball series (its predecessor was Dragon Ball: Dragon Daihikyou) and the first Dragon Ball game produced and distributed by Bandai. It is an action game developed by the TOSE Software Company. It was released on November 27, 1986 in Japan for the Family Computer. Outside Japan, a graphically modified version was released for the North American market in March 1988, under the title Dragon Power, which separated the game from the Dragon Ball license. A European version that kept the license and was simply called Dragon Ball was also released in 1990, mainly for the French market. Shenron no Nazo is included as a bonus feature in the Japanese version of Dragon Ball: Origins 2 for Nintendo DS, and it is one of the games in the J Legend Retsuden game collection for Nintendo 3DS.

Story

The game follows the first two volumes of the Dragon Ball manga, in which the young boy with the monkey tail Goku (along with his childhood friend Bulma) sets off in search of all seven Dragon Balls, which are believed to grant your every wish. Along the way, they meet various characters, including the turtle hermit Master Roshi, the anthropomorphic pig Oolong and the desert bandit Yamcha.
