Dracula: Origin reveals the dark origins of the Dracula curse. Once an ardent defender of Christianity, Dracula loses his faith in God when he is abandoned by his one true love after she marries. As a result, Dracula makes a pact with the Prince of Darkness and becomes a vampire.
Story
How did Dracula become a vampire? He was a passionate, deeply religious man, but his wife's suicide broke him; the soul of the woman he adored was damned! Mad with grief and rage, he damned himself by choosing the devil. He hid the deep sorrow for the loss of his love and became an immortal monster dedicated to destruction. His inconsolable grief and endless hatred drive him to eternally seek revenge. In the process, he discovers that somewhere there is an antediluvian manuscript with the details of a ritual, a ritual that would show how to awaken the infernal souls. At last, Dracula believes he has found the way to bring his love from the afterlife back to life.... for starters
