As the first version to be released, the Game Boy version of the game uses a password-based save system to store the player's progress. The game had seven floors, in which various items and parts of Bitsy (Frankie's girlfriend) were hidden. You needed keys and special items to access further areas and find more body parts and equipment needed to bring Bitsy back to life.
