Double Fine Happy Action Theatre

Double Fine Happy Action Theatre

Double Fine Happy Action Theater (sometimes referred to as Happy Action Theater) is a casual video game developed by Double Fine Productions and distributed by Microsoft Game Studios. The title is based on the Kinect motion controller for the Xbox 360 and was released on February 1, 2012 through the Xbox Live Arcade service in North America. Happy Action Theater is based on an idea Double Fine founder Tim Schafer had to create a game for his (then) two-year-old daughter Lily to play with. The open-ended game consists of eighteen different modes in which multiple players can interact in unique ways using the Kinect cameras and motion sensors in an augmented reality on the console display, such as playing in a giant virtual ball pit or running through simulated lava.
