Disney's Hercules Action Game is a platform game that is mainly two-dimensional, although in many missions the player can run over paths or stairs to other levels. There are ten levels and three difficulty modes: beginner, intermediate and Hercules. Hercules can jump, grab ledges, swing from poles and jump while running. He has a variety of attack moves at his disposal.

Story

The game follows the same plot as the animated movie. Hercules, son of Zeus, is robbed of his godhood and must prove that he is a true hero in order to regain his immortality and join Zeus and the other gods on Mount Olympus. To achieve this, Hercules must complete several tasks and defeat many villains. In the end, he has to face Hades, the ruler of the dead, who is also responsible for Hercules losing his immortality.
