Demolition Man

Demolition Man is a game based on the 1993 film of the same name. You play John Spartan (Sly Stallone), who awakens from cryogenic prison into a peaceful, utopian future. Your mission is to capture your arch-nemesis, the psychopathic Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes), who has escaped from prison and is wreaking havoc in the city. The 3DO version takes a unique multimedia approach to the concept of a film adaptation. Cutscenes and clips from the film are used at appropriate points, but Stallone and real props from the film (such as his uniform) were also used for blue screen clips specifically for the game. Stallone is embedded in the CD environments and sets up the upcoming game sequences, which act as an extended "director's cut" version of the events in the film.
