Story

Tempted by the forces of evil to bring about the end of the world prematurely, War - the first horseman of the apocalypse - is accused of having violated the holy law and instigated a war between heaven and hell. In the ensuing carnage, demonic forces defeated the heavenly hosts and laid claim to the earth. Before the Holy Council of the Charred Ones, War is tried for his crimes and stripped of his powers. Ostracized and faced with his own demise, War is given the opportunity to find redemption by returning to Earth to seek the truth - and to punish those responsible. Hunted by vengeful angels, War must forge uneasy alliances with the demons he hunts as he travels through the ravaged remains of Earth to seek revenge.
