An action role-playing game and spiritual successor to Demon's Souls, in which the player embodies the chosen undead, tasked with fulfilling an ancient prophecy by ringing the bells of awakening in the dark fantasy world of Lordran, an open world with twisted territories filled with beasts, former humans turned hollow, and magical abominations that the player must defeat in challenging and relentless battles.
