Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair

The sequel to Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. The main character, Hajime Hinata, is a new "ultimate" student at Hope's Peak Academy. On their first day, Hajime and his classmates are taken on a field trip to the mysterious Jabberwock Island by their anthropomorphic rabbit teacher, Usami. Usami explains that the students are supposed to have fun together on this island and become friends in order to collect fragments of hope. Usami's excursion doesn't go as planned when Monokuma shows up and starts a new killing game. Anyone who wants to leave the island must commit murder and get away with it. If the murderer is successful, he/she gets to leave the island while everyone else is killed. When a murder occurs, the player investigates the case. After the investigation, a trial begins to determine the guilty party.
