Story
The film takes place between the films Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, An ape known only as Specimen 139 is captured by the military and is on his way to a remote scientific facility in Northern California. It is Year 5 of the Simian Flu epidemic - 3 billion people are dead and society is on the verge of collapse.
