Command & Conquer: Red Alert

Journey to an alternate universe where dark experiments have permanently altered time. Or have they? Soviet tanks destroy city after city, while Allied cruisers shell bases. Spies lurk, land mines wait, and strange new technologies aid both sides in the struggle for ultimate control. In this parallel reality, the mighty Soviet Empire has begun to "liberate" all of Europe. Cities are falling and countries are collapsing under the overwhelming might of the Red Storm. The Allies try to counter the onslaught, but they have been caught by surprise. In Red Alert, the fate of the world is in your hands!

Story

In 1946, Albert Einstein completes his time machine, called the Chronosphere, and travels back to 1924, shortly after Adolf Hitler is released from prison in Landsberg. There he creates a time paradox that erases the dictator from history and returns to his starting point. With Nazi Germany gone from history, the Soviet Union has nothing left to oppose, and Josef Stalin sees an opportunity to expand into Eastern Europe. In response, much of Europe gangs up against this new threat and begins a desperate war against the new aggressor.
