Story

Circus Electrique, named after the greatest show in Victorian steampunk London, is part story-driven role-playing game, part tactics, part circus management and utterly captivating - all with a steampunk twist. When everyday Londoners mysteriously turn into vicious killers, only the circus cast of strongmen, fire breathers, clowns and other performers have the unique talents to save the city. In tactical, turn-based battles, these unlikely heroes must face off against bobbies, evil British sailors, aggressive Posh Girls and other Victorian-era archetypes - not to mention menacing mimes or robo-bears. The game's innovative morality system not only affects the characters' performance in battle, but also the circus performances that must be dutifully completed between heroic forays through six sprawling districts.
