Captain Rainbow

Nick comes from Mameruca, the "land of the free". His alter ego Captain Rainbow is a superhero with a yo-yo who appears on his own TV show. But the show is no longer popular because another superhero is attracting viewers' interest. To regain his lost popularity, Nick decides to go to Mimin Island, an island where wishes are supposed to come true. One dark night, Nick sets off for the island on a raft. During his journey, he notices a rabbit-like creature paddling desperately in the water. To save the creature, Nick transforms himself into Captain Rainbow and jumps into the water. However, his attempt fails and he sinks. The superhero loses his belt, which is needed for the transformation, and so Captain Rainbow turns back into normal Nick. When Nick regains consciousness, he has been washed up on the beach of Mimin Island. After a brief moment of confusion, Nick realizes that his belt is missing. He then sees the belt being carried away by rabbit-like creatures who have snatched it. As this particular item is indispensable to him, Nick begins to explore the island. It is not long before he has the belt back. On Mimin Island, Nick meets various Nintendo characters who have also come there because of their own dreams and desires. In their conversations, he learns that no one's wish has ever been granted. Only with the help of a chosen hero, in this case Nick, or rather Captain Rainbow, can the wishes be fulfilled. Nick decides to help the islanders. The hero receives support from rabbit-like creatures called Mimin, the dominant species on Mimin Island. This game was only released in Japan
