Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games (Treyarch for the Wii version), with Raven Software helping in the development.

Story

On August 17, 2016, a few hours after the killing of General Shepherd, Captain Price and Nikolai evacuate the dying John "Soap" MacTavish from the Hotel Bravo in Afghanistan. Soap receives medical attention at a safe house run by Nikolai's loyal allies in Himachal Pradesh, India, but Vladamir Makarov's troops arrive and attempt to kill the trio. After the doctor is shot down, Yuri, Nikolai's best soldier, who can't stand Makarov any more than Price can, gives Soap an adrenaline shot to keep his heart going and helps find a safe way out of the country. Meanwhile, the war between Russia and the United States continues, although the U.S. capital is secured. The actions of Delta Force Team Metal - consisting of Sgt. Derek "Frost" Westbrook, "Grinch," "Truck" and their C.O. "Sandman" - facilitate the Russian Army's retreat from the invasion of Lower Manhattan, New York City. First, they destroy a jammer on the roof of the New York Stock Exchange, then, with the help of U.S. Navy SEALs, they capture a Russian Oscar II submarine in the East River to use its guns against their own fleet. Finally, Russia withdraws its forces from the U.S. East Coast. On Oct. 4, 2016, Russian President Boris Vorshevsky announces his plans to make peace with the United States at a summit in Hamburg, Germany. But during the flight, Makarov's men hijack Vorshevsky's plane and force it to crash-land on an airport tarmac. F.S.O. agent Andrei Harkov tries to carry Vorshevsky to safety, but is killed when Makarov shows up in a helicopter that the F.S.O. mistakes for an evacuation helicopter. Makarov kidnaps the president and plans to capture and torture his daughter, Alena, in order to force the president to give Makarov access to the Russian nuclear arsenal, which has the capability and destructive power to destroy the entire European continent.
