Cadillacs and Dinosaurs
Cadillacs and Dinosaurs is a side-scrolling beat 'em up arcade game based on the comic series Xenozoic Tales. In the game, the player has access to multiple attacks. Each character has two special attacks, including one that uses up the character's health on contact with an enemy, and when two or more players play together, they can unleash a team attack. Players can also find and use various firearms, throwing weapons like rocks and explosives, and melee weapons like clubs.
Story
The plot is based on the comic Cadillacs and Dinosaurs and is set in the "City in the Sea" and the adjacent jungle. The story begins 500 years before the 20th century, when a gang called Black Marketeers starts hunting dinosaurs to fulfill their unknown purpose. The constant hunting has made the dinosaurs violent and now they attack villages and people. To set things right, mechanic and shaman Jack Tenrec, diplomat and explorer by profession Hannah Dundee, friend and engineer Mustapha Cairo, and the mysterious Mess O'Bradovich decide to join forces against the evil deeds of the black marketers. The protagonists reach "the city in the sea", where they suspect the entire hunter network that operates from there.
