Bucky O'Hare

This video game is based on the animated series "Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars" and is licensed by Hasbro, Inc. It is generally classified as a side-scrolling fighting game and uses a "Final Fight"-like landscape, but the player character also has a laser weapon, which adds elements of a side-scrolling shooter. However, when the character is very close to an enemy, they attack with their fists—similar to the characters in "Metal Slug" who use knives in close combat. Similar to the animated series, "Bucky O'Hare" features colorful animations, and the voice actors from the series were hired for the game's cutscenes. Players can choose between five main characters: Bucky O'Hare, the heroic rabbit captain of the spaceship Righteous Indignation; Jenny, an "Aldebaran cat" and telepath; Dead-Eye Duck, a four-armed mallard duck; Willy, a child from Earth who replaced their engineer; and Blinky, a one-eyed android. As in the TV series, the characters must stop the Toad Empire from conquering alien planets and enslaving their inhabitants. To do so, they must fight their way through an army of brainwashed toads to destroy their evil leader, a computer program called "Komplex," and release the "Interplanetary Life Force." Enemies include Al Negator, Toadborg, Total Terror Toad, a "cyborg spider," various types of Toad Storm Troopers, the Toads' Air Marshall, and "Komplex-2-Go," all of which appear in the comics and animated series.
