Bubba 'n' Stix
Our dorky hero and his friend - an intelligent alien stick - have crash-landed on a strange planet after being captured by an alien spaceship. To get back to Earth, Bubba must use Stix in a variety of ways to solve puzzles, defeat enemies and thwart his captor's comical attempts to recapture him in this multi-directional scrolling puzzle.
Story
Bubba and his buddy Stix make an interesting pair. Bubba is a cheerful animal supplier for the local zoo on Earth. One day, while doing his daily chores, Bubba is abducted by an alien who wants to deliver him to their zoo along with some other aliens. On the way back to his home planet, the alien spaceship loses control and crashes. Bubba, the other aliens and Stix (a sentient, twig-like alien) manage to escape. Bubba and Stix become friends and make their way home. Everything is a little different on the alien planet than on Earth. You take control of Bubba, who uses Stix as a tool to solve puzzles (including a weapon) as they try to find a way back home. You'll have to solve perplexing puzzles and fight all sorts of crazy aliens if you want to get back to Earth. So you'll need to have quick reflexes and be able to think fast and sometimes laterally.
