Boulderdash

Boulderdash

his classic game is about an underground diamond hunt with many obstacles. Try - as Rockford - to collect all the required diamonds in a total of 16 caves (A-P), each with 5 difficulty levels, and find the exit in the given time. After every 4 caves (D, H, L, P) there is a so-called "pause", a logical puzzle (without your own "cave letter"). Rockford can dig through the ground and push rocks. However, these can also be dangerous. If he stands directly under a rock, Rockford can hold it on his head. But if a rock falls on his head, it will cost him his life. Rocks do not stick to each other or to walls. When Rockford digs away the supporting soil, the rocks start to slide. There are also some not-so-friendly animals like fireflies, amoebas and other things you'd better not touch. Butterflies and other inhabitants of the underground can only be defeated by dropping rocks on them. When they are defeated, they turn into diamonds that Rockford can collect. As soon as the required number of jewels has been collected (the number is displayed in the top bar), the escape tunnel to the next level opens. Strategy and well thought-out planning are the basis for mastering this game.
