BOMBERMAN has come to restore peace to the planet that was split into five parts by an evil hand! In addition to the nine members of the Bomber family, the character ROOI also appears to help you. Jump on the EGGS that emerge from destroyed SOFT BLOCKS, and you can ride one of five ROOI types. Each ROOI has different special abilities - use them well and you will ride to victory! Bombs that spin according to the arrows and other new gimmicks have been added to the BATTLE GAME, which has been expanded to ten levels. Tag team matches are now possible to make this game a real blast! Bomberman '94 is a video game in the Bomberman series, developed and published by Hudson Soft for the PC engine and released in Japan on December 10, 1993. It was later redeveloped by Westone and re-released by Sega in 1994 as Mega Bomberman on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis in other territories. The PC Engine Bomberman '94 was later released outside of Japan via the Wii's Virtual Console and the PlayStation Network on the PlayStation 3. The game supports single-player and multiplayer modes. In single-player mode, the player navigates through several mazes and destroys creatures with bombs. In multiplayer mode, players defeat each other with bombs. Bomberman '94 is the last HuCard title developed and published by Hudson Soft, the original developers of the PC Engine console.

Story

The inhabitants of the planet Bomber lived in peace, protected by five spirits, until the evil Buglear and his robot army invaded. The ghost images, the source of the magical power of the spirits, were destroyed and the planet Bomber was cut into five pieces. Bomberman comes to restore the ghost images and reassemble the planet Bomber.
