Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R

"Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R" is a video game released by Bandai for the Super Famicom in 1993. It is the sequel to "Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon." At the start of the game, you can choose one of five characters (two are selectable in co-op mode). The game is divided into four levels, each of which is further divided into two sub-levels. You battle numerous enemies, most of which are standard droids modeled after their manga counterparts. At the end of each level, you must defeat a boss to proceed. By pressing a special button, the character performs a devastating attack that kills all weaker enemies on the screen and deals significant damage to a boss character; however, the use of this attack is limited. Bonus items can be picked up from the ground or found in breakable objects, usually in the form of food that replenishes the health bar to varying degrees. Chibiusa Mode is essentially an "Easy Mode." Chibiusa's sprite is too small to be hit by most attacks, and the enemies are also easier to defeat. There is also a Bonus Battle Mode, which functions as a 1-on-1 arcade fighting game for two players. If this mode is selected with only one player, it serves as a training mode, with the other character remaining stationary.
