Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei

The story is set in the Heian period during the Genpei Civil War (1180-1185), in which the two clans Yorimoto and Taira are facing each other. Most of the main characters are inspired by real people of the time. The heroine is the last daughter of the Minamoto and is called Shanaou, the birth name of the famous general Minamoto no Yoshitsune.
