Beyond Good & Evil

Beyond Good & Evil is an action adventure game with elements of puzzle and stealth games. The player controls the protagonist Jade from the third-person perspective. Jade can run, move stealthily, jump over obstacles and pits, climb ladders, push or smash doors and objects, and press herself against walls. As Jade, the player investigates a series of facilities in search of the truth about a war with an alien threat.

Story

Jade and Pey'j care for the children of Hillys orphaned by the DomZ. When Jade runs out of money for the shield, she finds a job as a photographer, cataloging all the species on Hillys for a science museum. She is recruited by the IRIS network, which suspects the Alpha Sections are behind the planet-wide disappearances. Jade's first investigative target is an Alpha Sections factory.
