Beyond Divinity
You were a disciple of the divine, a servant of light on a never-ending crusade against evil. But fate has given you a terrible twist. During an epic battle with a powerful necromancer, a terrible demon named Samuel tricked you and carried you off to his dimension. There you were captured and tortured. But like any typical demon lord, he had a very twisted, sadistic sense of humor and decided to chain your soul to that of a death knight. So he cursed you to spend the rest of eternity bound to a creature you've spent your entire life fighting. Now you must work together to escape your prison and find a way to break this curse!
Story
The storyline of Beyond Divinity takes place 20 years after the original game. The player takes on the role of a servant of the Divine, a paladin who hates and hunts necromancers. While fighting a particularly vile necromancer, the paladin is grabbed by a demon, Samuel, and taken to another universe where he is soul mates with a death knight, a creature of evil. Together, the Paladin and the Death Knight must find a way to break through this forge. If you succeed, you can resume the path you set out on. If you fail, you will spend eternity connected to that which you despised.
