BeamNG.drive
BeamNG.drive is a sandbox vehicle simulation game based on soft-body physics that simulates realistic driving behavior, deformations, and damage in real time. The game emerged as the spiritual successor to the open-source project “Rigs of Rods” and was originally released in 2013 as a tech demo before moving to Steam Early Access in 2015. Players can participate in campaigns and time trials or roam freely across various open-world maps, experimenting with vehicle collisions, environmental physics, and user-created mods. The game supports VR, offers integration with the car-building game “Automation,” and features native modding support with a community repository.
