BattleTanx: Global Assault
Global Assault is the sequel to the original BattleTanx. It features many new weapons, new vehicles and new powers that were not available in the original. Global Assault now also features a destructible environment, allowing you to take control of the environment and cause ultimate destruction. Global Assault allows two players to play together in cooperative mode, or four players to go head-to-head as one of dozens of tank groups in all new maps and many more game modes.
Story
On January 13, 2006, Cassandra, a ruler, spies on Griffin Spade's family and orders her troops to kidnap Griffin's son Brandon and kill everyone else. Griffin and his army manage to push back the invaders, but Cassandra turns the tables by taking control of Griffin's own army. Griffin and Madison manage to escape from San Francisco and chase Cassandra across the United States until she is finally cornered in Washington, D.C.. However, Cassandra flees to Great Britain with Brandon; Griffin and Madison follow her. They build up a new army in Europe and pursue Cassandra through England, France and Germany. In Paris, they discover that Cassandra released the virus in 2001 to kill all women on Earth who do not possess the power of the Edge.
