Battlefield 1942
Battlefield 1942 built on the ideas of Codename Eagle and refined them even further. Players could engage in infantry combat and get behind the wheel of a variety of vehicles, from submarines to battleships and bombers. The game introduced Battlefield's signature rock-scissors-paper gameplay, as well as the exciting "Battlefield Moments" that players talk about when they discuss their unique and unscripted experiences in multiplayer play.
