Aura Kingdom

Aura Kingdom

Aura Kingdom is set in a huge anime-style world, designed with detailed graphics. The game mainly consists of an open world with instances that can be tackled either alone or in a group. Players can choose between a variety of classes, ten of which have already been released and one more will follow in May 2014. Players are free to customize their character or avatar and have the choice of many different hairstyles, faces and much more. Then it continues with the choice of four Eidolons, which accompany the player through the game and offer the opportunity to earn more Eidolons. In the game, the player can interact with many non-player characters and enter battle mode with monsters outside of the hub world. The combat system primarily consists of the player using a variety of abilities appropriate to their class against the monsters, which also have their own abilities. The majority of the game consists of attacking and defeating the monsters along the way as you participate in quests. The combat system is unique in that while the player must click on a monster to enter combat, he/she also has the ability to move around to dodge and use his/her abilities in various ways. With an accompanying eidolon, the player's eidolon can also fight alongside his/her character and also use a combo attack. The combat system is not just click-and-watch. Outside of the combat system, the player can also perform various tasks, such as fishing, crafting, and more. Although the game is set in a free-to-play environment, players can also buy Aeria Points, or AP, which they can use to purchase special items in the Item Mall. Otherwise, the game uses gold and silver tactics, which can be acquired in various ways. The game also allows the use of trading, a self-established stall in Navea, and the auction house. Players can also use the postal system to mail other players using the COD system.

Story

The plot of Aura Kingdom revolves around an envoy of Gaia who lives in Port Skandia and is later accompanied by an eidolon. Afraid of becoming a monster after witnessing the demonic transformation of another Envoy of Gaia, the Envoy ventures outside of Port Skandia to free his Eidolon at his side, but he is unsuccessful. After dreaming of a raging war between the Church of Navea and the Demon Army, the Envoy finds himself in a situation that has become reality, as he now fights alongside the Church to defeat Reinhardt and his Demon Army.
