Asterix
Astérix was developed by Bit Managers and Infogrames for a range of different consoles. It was based on the comic series Asterix, which enjoyed great popularity in Europe but never made the breakthrough in North America. For this reason, the game was only released in PAL format and was never released in North America.
Story
The game is set in the year 50 BC - the main character, a mustachioed Gaul named Asterix, must fight his way across Europe, battling Romans and animals to save his friend Obelix before Caesar throws him to the lions.
