Army Men

Army Men is a mission-based combat game in which you lead a green plastic squad called Sarge in a war against a brownish toy army. The soldiers use bazookas, grenades, flamethrowers, mortars, automatic rifles and land mines to destroy each other. You can also drive jeeps and tanks through the varied terrain. To learn the controls, there is a bootcamp option that offers a series of eight training missions. Once you're ready, you can choose between two campaigns: Desert and Alps. Check your objectives on the briefing screen before each mission and prepare to fight an onslaught of plastic troops. A mission fails if you exceed the time limit, give victory to your opponents or let Sarge die. On the options screen you can view current objectives, see a strategic map, abandon vehicles and abort your mission. You'll also be able to adjust the controls, choose a difficulty level and turn on the music.
