Armored Core
Armored Core (アーマード・コア Āmādo Koa) is a 1997 mecha video game, the first game in the Armored Core series. It is an action game played from the third-person perspective.
Story
In a presumably distant future, most of Earth's population is wiped out by a catastrophic war known as the Great Destruction. The resulting harsh conditions force the few survivors to live underground for fifty years, during which time corporations rise to power. The two largest corporations, Chrome and Murakumo Millennium, constantly battle for supremacy, causing considerable unrest among the population. However, the competition also offers endless opportunities for the Ravens, mercenaries that exist independently of the corporations. You, the protagonist, control an Armored Core (AC), a giant mecha robot.
