Arch Rivals
Arch Rivals is a basketball game developed and published by Midway in 1989. The game introduces violence as an important part of the game and encourages players to hit opposing players and steal the ball from them. The game is considered the forerunner of the popular arcade basketball game NBA Jam by Midway.
Story
Players can choose between a variety of fictional teams and players. The games follow the standard basketball rules, with the exception of the accepted level of violence. The goal is to outplay your opponent. There are only two players per team on the court, instead of the usual 5 men per team in basketball.
