Anticipation

Anticipation

Anticipation was marketed as Nintendo's "first video board game" and was developed by Rare for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1988. It could be played in both single-player mode against computer-controlled opponents and multiplayer mode with up to four players.

Story

Anticipation contains aspects of Pictionary and Trivial Pursuit. The aim of the competition is to be the first player to complete all levels of the game. To complete a level, a player must guess the correct picture that the computer draws on the screen - several times and in different categories. The game had different levels of difficulty and four different categories.
