Story
The year is 1899, and wealthy industrialist Oswald Mandus awakens in his bed, ravaged by fever and haunted by dreams of a dark and hellish machine. Tormented by visions of a disastrous expedition to Mexico, shattered by failed dreams of an industrial utopia, plagued by guilt and a tropical disease, he awakens in a nightmare. The house is silent, the floor beneath him All he knows is that his children are in grave danger and that it is up to him to save them.
