Amidar
Amidar is an arcade game programmed by Konami and published by Stern in 1981. It is similar to Pac-Man: you move around on a fixed, straight grid and try to visit all the dots on the playing field without being caught by your opponents. Once you have visited all the dots, you move on to the next level. The game and its name originate from the Japanese game of chance Amidakuji. The bonus level in Amidar is an almost exact replica of an Amidakuji game, and the way the opponents move corresponds to the Amidakuji rules—this is referred to as the "Amidar movement" in the attraction sequence. A version for the BBC Micro was developed but never released.
