Amazing Island

The "black evil" has taken over the island, and the Maboo tribe has asked you to keep order and expel the evil that has taken control. To achieve this, you'll have to create your own creature and train it, letting it compete in different contests against the "black evil" and work towards the main objective. When you complete the competitions, you'll unlock new features that will let you improve your creature's speed, strength and general look. The main reason to do this are the minigames in which the monsters can participate. While these depend on your active gamepad abilities (mostly you press a button as fast as possible, with small variations), the changes in success are determined by the monster's statistics. For example, a dragon would be beneficial for a flight minigame. These stats can be further improved with items you buy in stores. Play single-player and multiplayer battles on GameCube, or upload your creatures to Game Boy Advance to take them on the road to challenge your friends and unlock unique items and features for the creatures you design.
